Corona Journal, 15 May; Day 60
10:30am I am awake and engaging in one of my favourite lockdown hobbies – staring at my budget spreadsheet. God, I’m so fun.
11am Not one but two cards have arrived from my mum for boyfriend to thank him for doing his job. Text her to ask if she has made a mistake, but turns out she just liked them so much that she sent both.

11:30am My underwear order from The Pantry Underwear arrives and I am now the proud owner of a yellow bra. How many people can say that?
1pm I have been listening to a podcast that analyses every Sex and the City episode in turn (it’s called So I Got To Thinking and I can highly recommend it), and now, on Day 60 of the Corona Journal, I have decided to admit that I have never seen Sex and the City and it is perhaps time I did.
1:10pm Twitter reacts with outrage at my admission. It turns out literally everyone my age has seen Sex and the City. Lots of helpful people tell me to just bite the bullet and sign up to Now TV.
1:15pm I am on the Now TV sign-up page when flatmate (who must have been following on Twitter) bursts into the living room and tells me to check SkyGo (either boyfriend’s dad’s or flatmate’s dad’s account is signed in on the TV). Praise the gods of social media-ing from different rooms in the same house because he has just saved me £8/month.
2:30pm Have watched the first two episodes and I’m already obsessed.
3:30pm Cleaned the kitchen while relistening to the first two podcast episodes analysing said episodes. Wonder how long it will take me to watch all 94 episodes?
4pm Walked to Holland Park from home. Have never been before, but it’s gorgeous. My new favourite park.

7pm Cook curry for boyfriend and flatmate. I’d describe my cooking style as ‘tasty staples your mum would cook and that always involve onions, garlic and never take more than 40 minutes to cook’.

8:30pm Right, ok, I’ll spend an hour and a half lesson planning for tomorrow and no longer.
12am Still planning. Whyyyyyyyyyy.
